Designing, Planning, directing and coordination of construction activities to complete a successful project. Maintain the project documentation and communicate with clients, architects, city officials, subcontractors, and vendors during the course of the project to ensure the project is built per plans and specification and within the defined schedule and budget. Maintaining Procore system, processes, and controls, including submittals, RFI’s, scheduling, change orders and contract management. Performing budget management, RFP’s ASI’s drawings distributions and maintaining general knowledge of all scopes work. Reviewing financial forecasts to ensure timely completion of projects on schedule and budget.
Requires master’s degree in Civil Engineering/Construction management with 2 years of experience in project engineering and working with Procore, Onscreen Take off, Microsoft Project, and Sage 100.
The Project Superintendent’s (PS) role is to manage day-to-day construction activities and supervise field personnel and subcontractors as required to successfully complete the project on schedule. The PS will be responsible for producing quality work that is consistent with the standards set forth in the project’s contract plans and specification. Just as important, the PS is expected to administer good construction safety practices and continuously keep the site clean and orderly. The PS will report directly to the Project Manager.
The Project Engineer’s role is to assist the Project Manager and other jobsite staff members, with project administration for multi-family, high density residential and/or mixed use projects. The Project Engineer is expected to help manage and maintain the smooth workflow of the jobsite trailer and the paperwork necessary to complete a successful project. Not only is the Project Engineer expected to be responsible for jobsite postings, safety documentation and project paperwork related to billings, but to also maintain close interaction and relationships with vendors, owners and engineers, while complying with company policies and procedures.
The Assistant Superintendent’s (AS) is responsible for assisting the Project Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction activities. This includes, but is not limited to: walking inspections, supervising subcontractors, quality control, jobsite safety, jobsite paperwork, and jobsite cleanliness. The AS will report directly to the Project Superintendent and Project Manager.
The Project Manager’s (PM) role is to plan and manage construction activities from conception to completion of the project in a timely and cost-effective manner. The PM responsibilities include, but are not limited to; project planning, budget management, schedule implementation, compliance with quality standards, contract administration and safety program management.
Performs accounting for the project prime contract. Monitors project budget, reconciles budget with subcontractor commitments, prepares monthly project billings, and manages subcontractor payments and compliance. Interfaces between project management, Accounting, and Executive Team. The Project Accountant must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, on both regular tasks and on projects assigned from time-to-time by management. The position requires effective communication, strong organizational and time management skills, and analytical skills.
The Preconstruction Estimator’s (PCE) role is to assist the Vice President of Pre-construction, Senior Project Manager, and other operations staff members with preconstruction pursuits from preliminary bids to budgets procurement. PCE will primarily be responsible for setting up and maintain preconstruction project records, subcontractor solicitations, scope estimating and analyzing assigned projects. PCE will also be involved in the assisting the project team during the buy-out and scope development for awarded projects.
